| February | 21st (TUES) Third Tuesday (change was made to accomodate the Valentine's Day holiday) Host: Blair Mill Inn Horsham Pa- Chef Joe Gudonis Education: Ice Carving Demonstration with Kevin Gregory , owner of Ice Concepts in Hatfield ,Pa. is a certified professional Ice carver with (NICA) the National Ice Carvers Association. He has competed and won medals both nationaly and internationaly. For over 15 years, Kevin has worked with accomplished designers, hotels, catering facilities, decorators, private clubs, meeting and event planners, marketing companies and individuals planning their own events. He has also been a part of many large scale, high profile productions including World Ice Championships, Fairbanks, Alaska 2009, World Ice Championships, Fairbanks, Alaska 2007 and events such as Prince Charles Gala Dinner, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 2007. The presentation focus will be on the production of clear ice, design planning, tools and techniques required to turn "Ice into Art". | DVCA General Meetings RESERVATIONS: Out of respect for our host chef's who have graciously scheduled our meetings at their location, we are requesting that you respond with a message of your attendance 2 days prior for our general meetings. It is always nice to know how many one is cooking for. Please respond to dvcanews@verizon.net Monthly meetings are held @ 7pm at a different locations each month by a member who volunteers to host our organizational gatherings. Each member host, offers their facilities to our attendees on the Second Tuesday of the month September thru June. Meetings include:casual networking, 30 minute industry education about current trends and a fabulous dinner. Mingle with other hospitality industry professionals and we hope to see there.
